WHY WE DELIVER RETREATS & WORKSHOPS:
Many of the busy people we coach and mentor, men and women, are so used to living with a knot of anxiety in their stomach, that they don't even realise it's not normal. They like the 'buzz' of constantly being 'on' 24/7, looking at the TV, mobile, internet all at the same time; but it's an addiction and the cortisol flowing through your body when you live like this, damages every cell and leads to chronic illness.
Six years ago our Founder, Wendy Bowers, was forced to stop by illness. She realised that life does not become fuller, the more you pack in, it becomes fuller when you pause and realise that wealth is not about money, but what you would have left if all the money was gone. Based on her own experience of renewal and recovery, Wendy has designed a range of retreats and programmes to help individuals pause and seek the wisdom that lies within us all, if we just give it the chance to surface.
In 2017, we delivered our first retreat for female leaders at Carsaig House, on the beautiful and wild Isle of Mull - where sea and mountains meet and time stands still. Seals swim in the bay and deer roam freely. This beautiful, peaceful place was the setting for our STOP retreat, where we gave 12 women the space to reflect, and be supported with guided learning and practical tools to keep them moving forwards on their own personal journeys to fulfilment. We delivered 2 further retreats during 2018 and 2019 and then Covid came! But we are back delivering day retreats in 2023 which you can find out about here
Here's one of the glowing testimonials fom our Mull retreat: (there's more below)
It’s hard to put into words, in fact it’s impossible!! All I can say is if you’re considering going on one of these retreat is don’t hesitate, you will not regret it!
The location, accommodation and food were all beyond expectations, just perfect!
For me, I feel the journey to the rest of my life has just begun. I’m feeling light, calm, strong and basically better equipped for what life has in store and I’m certain I will do it again soon.
Huge thanks to Wendy for what has been a truly amazing experience, you are a guiding star I very much needed to meet.

OUR RETREAT TRAINERS
We choose special people to work with, those who share our deep belief that an understanding of the world must first come from an understanding of oneself.
On our retreats, it is a given that you will be taught by highly qualified people, but they have to be more than that. They have to be people who fundamentally believe in the connection between mind, body and soul (core) and the change we can bring to the world by connecting with each other and nature.
Testimonials
How can I give a sense of the unique atmosphere of the whole week?
A group of women who did not know each other were afforded the chance to connect, share and develop an amazing and close supportive bond through a well thoughtout and gentle retreat experience.
The house was simply beautiful and the countryside with its wildness, beauty and remoteness aided the restfulness and solitude for those who wanted it.
Conversation around the kitchen table was key to sharing our diverse, yet strangely similar stories, with most realising that, despite our differences, we all had the same hang ups and self doubts.
The workshop from James opened up a new understanding of what 'dread butterflies/that sinking feeling' really means and he gave us the tools to recognise, acknowledge and deal (accept and grow tall?) with this emotion and becoming stronger and confident with everyday situations.
The food was truly delicious and Sam was an hilarious chef with his wellies and flat cap! Whilst his was adventurous and tasty, yours was comforting, delicious and seemingly effortlessly prepared and presented. Not only did you organise but you catered as well, I hope you realise how amazing your planning was.
I could go on but suffice to say thank you to you and Amy and Sam for being expert hosts in a spotless happy house; and for all the ladies who met, connected, relaxed and created such a magical and loving atmosphere. It was a privilege to witness the relaxing of tension and the revelation of everyone's true beautiful persona.
Hats off to you Wendy - it was spectacular.
