Global Entrepreneurship week is celebrated in 135 countries around the world and last year more than 35,000 events were held to encourage future and budding entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are the innovators of change and Global Entrepreneurship week is founded on the belief that budding and future entrepreneurs represent the very best ways in which human endeavour can benefit the whole of society. This year on November 28th, Role is partnering with Nelson and Colne college to inspire and encourage 50 female students during a morning of motivation, debate, presentations and one to one mentoring. We hope to ignite some sparks which will lead to them becoming future entrepreneurs either in their own business or as an enthusiastic employee. Lancashire is home to some of the world’s most innovative businesses, think Whatmore UK, Discover Laser, Performance Fluids. With your help, we can showcase a whole range of careers and opportunities available to our next generation. We can encourage them to aim high and aim local. If you are a senior manager in any Lancashire organisation or a female business owner, please pledge just 5 hours of your time on the 28th November by following this link http://tinyurl.com/z9wnn7b During the event a hot buffet lunch will be served and the event will end with optional networking and a glass of bubbly!
